Carnival Cruise Lines Prohibited Items List

Carnival Cruise Lines Prohibited Items List
(Revised 5/06/09)

In order to maintain a safe and secure environment, Carnival prohibits certain items onboard. According to our policy, Carnival conducts security scanning of all luggage and if prohibited items (list below) are found, they will be removed and destroyed if the guest cannot return them to their car. No compensation will be given.

For additional information, guests can refer to the terms and conditions of the cruise ticket contract.

We suggest all luggage be unlocked before turning over to the porters in order to avoid any inconvenience or delay in delivering the luggage to the stateroom. Should the guest choose not to unlock their bags and prohibited items are found during screening, the luggage will be retained until the guest can open it in front of security personnel.

Items on the Prohibited Items List are destroyed if the guest cannot return them to their car.
